This is a picture of the entrance to Tomales Bay taken from the vacation house at Dillon Beach, California. The picture was taken in the spring when the ocean and waves are dynamic. Tomales Bay is a popular destination for kayaking because of it's normally tranquil waters and scenic beauty. If you own a kayak you can launch it from the day use area of the campground in Dillon Beach. If you would like to rent a kayak they are available in the town of Marshall which is about twenty minutes from the house. Marshall is also known for it's oyster farms and fresh oysters.
